The 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savelugu Constituency, Hajia Fatahiya Abdul Aziz, has fulfilled her promise to construct a befitting Community Center for the town. The NPP Member of Parliament hopeful on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, commissioned a multipurpose Community Center.

The facility comes with a large size conference hall with a capacity of about one thousand, offices furnished with the requisite office accessories and big compound for entertainment and other social events in the constituency.

In her address, Madam Fatahiya assured the chiefs and people of her commitment to undertake more infrastructure projects to mitigate the development gap in the constituency when voted in the upcoming general election on December 7.

“What men can do women can do even better; so please I appealing to you, let’s take this election seriously. 2024 election is not a joke; we’re not going to joke with the election. We will not jeopardize with the future of our children, we will not derail our progress and move backwards, we’re voting forward and for development” she said.

Hajia Fatahiya added that Ghanaians will not vote someone who will come to cancel the free Senior High School policy, asserting that the NDC said it was not possible but President Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia came and implemented it.

She therefore urged the constituents to vote massively for the NPP presidential candidate; Dr Mahamudu Bawumia emphasizing the Vice President has the brain and expertise to move the country forward.

“We will not vote for John Mahama to come and cancel the free SHS, we will vote Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, we have the men, he has all the ideas and he will bring on board to develop the country”.

Meanwhile, the NPP parliamentary candidate with the support of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has also cut sod for the construction of an ultramodern Astro turf in the Savelugu constituency.

The Youth and Sports Minister in his remarks called on the constituents to turnout on December 7 to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as next President of Ghana and Hajia Fatahiya as the Member of Parliament, indicating collectively these individuals will bring glory to Savelugu.
