The Second Lady, Hajia Samira Bawumia has described his husband, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a compassionate, intelligent and solution driven man.
Mrs. Bawumia explained that the Vice President would be a fantastic President when elected in the upcoming general elections on December 7, 2024.
“But to explained further, this is a very intelligent man. I call him a good man and that encompasses who he really is – all of his characteristics which is his thoughtfulness, his empathy, and we need a leader with empathy which means that his policies will respond to our needs” Hajia Samira emphasized.
The Second Lady added: “This is a man who is a deep thinker, he’s solution driven, he’s youthful, he’s got energy, he’s got the brain power to solve some of our problems. In fact, he also has the ability to bring people together, he bridges the divide, Bawumia is for everybody”.
Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia made these remarks when asked why Ghanaians should vote for Dr Bawumia during a radio interview at Tolon monitored by The Custodian Online.
She embarked on a 4-day campaign tour of the Northern Region. As part of the tour, Hajia Samira paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abukari II and some traditional leaders in the region.
She has been interacting with traders in the major markets in the region and holding rallies in the various constituencies.
