The Ghana Police Service has declared Mark Agingre, a suspected serial killer in the Binduri district of the Upper East Region, wanted.
The police, in a statement dated Saturday, November 8, 2025, said the suspect is wanted for his involvement in a series of brutal murders in the Binduri district and its neighbouring communities in the region.
The suspect is said to have been allegedly involved in the murder of a man, his wife, and three children on 7th November 2025, which also left another child in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.
He is further suspected of the murder of an elderly man and his two children on 27th October 2025 at Binduri.
Police preliminary investigation has also indicated that he [Mark Agingre] may be behind several other targeted killings in the area.
Consequently, the police administration has placed a reward of one million Ghana Cedis (GH₵1,000,000.00) for any person who is able to provide relevant and credible information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect.
“Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or call 191, 18555 immediately.
“The police assure the public that every effort is being made to track down the suspect and bring him to justice,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, five people, including women and children, were reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen during curfew hours at Tengmasug, a suburb of the Binduri District, at about 7:15pm on Thursday, November 7, 2025.
The assailants reportedly stormed the household and opened fire on its occupants, who were indoors at the time.
