Cole Palmer led Chelsea Football Club to win the first edition of the Club World Cup by beating Paris Saint-German.
Both Chelsea and PSG are current European champions as Chelsea won the inaugural UEFA Conference League and PSG winning their first UEFA Championships League.
PSG did not depart from their style of play and Chelsea clearly showed they were prepared to withstand any form of pressure.
Chelsea were the better side on the evening at the MetLife Stadium in the US.
Chelsea opened scoring by taking advantage of the chances available in the first half through Cole Palmer who scored in the 22nd minute of the game.
Eight (8) minutes later, in the 30th minute Cole palmer added the second goal of the three (3) goals scored in the game.
Newly signed Brazilian striker Joao Pedro scored the third goal of the game from a Cole Palmer assist in 42nd minute.
Chelsea ended the game in the first half with the three (3 goals) and PSG did not have any answers with all they pressure they mounted.

PSG begun to look frustrated when they realised they had no chance to get back into the game. Key players like Dembele and Desire Doue were forced out and Joao Neves ended up receiving a red card for pulling the hair of Marc Cucurella in the 85th minute.
Even after the game tensions went high on the field as Luis Enrique, head coach of PSG had a confrontation with Joao Pedro and some Chelsea players.
PSG and Chelsea before today have met eight (8) times with Paris winning 3 out of that with 2 draws and 2 losses to Chelsea.
Chelsea have now become the first club in history of football to win all major trophies now available to them domestic, continental, and world. These trophies are: Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, and the inaugural Club World Cup.
