The 2020 Tamale Central Constituency Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Ibrahim Anyars has presented an amount of GHS10,000 to support the Constituency Annual Delegates Conference of the party.
The donation was made by the Constituency Chairman on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer for the Nations Builders Corps (NABCo) today in Tamale during the conference to the rank and file of the party.
The purpose of the gesture was for the smooth organization of the event though Dr Anyars could not be present in person.
The Tamale Central organised its Annual Delegates Conference today Tuesday (24 August, 2021) at the Aliu Mahama Stadium as enshrined under Article 7(27) of the NPP constitution.
In a statement copied to THE CUSTODIAN, the NABCo CEO said, “Thanks for the invitation to join the conference. It is rather unfortunate that the emergency nature of the notice has made it difficult to participate in the conference”.
“Kindly extend my best wishes to the Constituency leadership from Polling Stations, Electoral Area Coordinators, Council of Elders and Patrons as well as the Constituency Executive for the Tamale Central Constituency”
“I have extended my financial support of 10,000 GHS through the Constituency Chairman to aid in the smooth organisation of the conference” it added.
Dr Ibrahim Anyars however thanked the party’s support base for the diligent support during the 2020 general elections.
“I hope the conference will reflect on the broad lessons learnt to afford the party an opportunity to win the Tamale Central Constituency at the next elections. I am with you in spirit and prayer. Do have a wonderful conference today Tuesday 24th August 2021” he intimated.
