Except the Almighty God, absolutely nothing will stop Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from winning the upcoming general election to become President of Ghana, the Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Alhaji Haruna Mohammed, popularly known as Prof Haruna has pronounced.
He further charged the enthusiastic supporters of the NPP in the Northern Region not to be deterred or scared by the antics of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), adding the violent threats of the largest opposition party are mere threats which they dare not attempt any of such.
The Deputy General Secretary made these remarks when he addressed gallant NPP supporters after a mammoth Health Walk in the Tamale Central constituency on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Zogbeli cluster of School Park.
“Don’t feel threatened or be scared of whatever the NDC has been saying; those statements are mere rhetorics, and they cannot do anything. So I am telling you that on Election Day, Hon Sule Salifu is first on the ballot and Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is also first on the ballot.
“When you’re given your ballot paper and you finish voting for the both of them then you move into the households, farms, the markets etc to encourage others to also come out and vote. When that is done the voting is over then leave everything to us now because nobody can tamper with a ballot” he stated.
Alhaji Haruna said the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr Bawumia is coming with Bold Solutions to upgrade the country’s economy and position Ghana well in this fourth Industrial Revolution driven by technology and data.
Meanwhile, the Northern Region executives of the party have declared Operation win 75% votes in the region and further target to win at least 13 parliamentary out of the 18 constituencies.
