Primary Group Global Foundation (PGGF) has issued a formal retraction and apology regarding the mention of Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, during a recent press conference on October 30, 2025, concerning suspected circumvention of humanitarian funds from MAEC to help the Government in development projects for Ghana.
In the statement, the organisation clarified that the Chief of Staff’s name was referenced solely to draw his attention to issues involving certain allies who had been working with the Foundation, and not to allege wrongdoing on his part.
According to the Foundation, further engagements with individuals connected to the matter revealed that the mention of Mr. Debrah’s name was inappropriate. The Foundation has therefore expressed regret and extended what it described as an “unqualified apology” to the Chief of Staff.
Despite the retraction, PGGF maintained that it will continue to pursue parties it believes were directly involved in the alleged circumvention. The statement identified Republic Bank as one of the entities under scrutiny, with the Foundation promising to provide updates as investigations progress.
The communication was signed by Michael Bass, POA Consultant and Director at Primary Group Global Foundation.
