Two people are feared dead after a helicopter reportedly crashed at Oninku Park in Tema Community 1 on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Initial reports indicate that the small white helicopter went down near the Tema Metropolitan Day Care, opposite Oninku Primary School and close to the Port Clinic area, sending shockwaves through the community.
Eyewitnesses who rushed to the scene said the aircraft burst into flames upon impact, leaving the victims severely burnt and difficult to identify.
Preliminary information suggests that three people were on board the helicopter at the time of the crash and are believed to have died.
