“In Ghana here today;

Police are working 24hrsHealth facilities are working 24hrs; Manufacturing companies who have to meet demand are working 24hrs.

There are several areas within Regional capitals that run 24hrs. Infact there are Breakfast to Breakfast food facilities here in Ghana.

There are indomie and Waakye joints within certain areas in Ghana available all day , all night. Food economy in Ghana has always been voluntaraily available 24hrs in areas that are neededNight life and hospitality are available 24hrs.

Osu, Bantama, East Legon Lagos avenue and several cities in this country never sleeps. As a result of the Digitalisation Drive that has been achieved by this country, there are several essential public services that are available 24hrs; ECG services are available at your finger tips 24hours.

You can buy your credit 24hrs around the clock and have access to customer service all night round Water Services are available at your finger tips 24hrs. National Health insurance renewal is available 24hours. Banks are operating 24hrs.

Application and access to essential public services are available 24hrs through digital platforms. Here we are, saddled with our Former President moving round and telling us to make him president again so he introduces a 24hrs economy. And then when he’s challenged with the fact that, 24hr economy is organic and cannot be legislated, he says it will be voluntary.

Sir, can you please clarify what exactly you are proposing. Kindly make up your mind sir, so we can follow”.
