The Ghana Police Service has reported that the Northern Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect with foreign pistols.
The suspect who is known as Mohammed Iddi, alias ‘Water’, was arrested for unlawful procession of fire arms.
He was picked up at the Tamale-Bolgatanga highway during a routine police intelligence operations which led to the retrieval of six(6) new foreign made ‘9mm Calibre Bruni 92’ pistols.
Mohammed Iddi has been remanded into police custody to reappear on 25th April, 2022. This came during a court hearing on Friday 8th April, 2022.
