Manchester United are struggling to secure a spot in the top 4 of the English Premier League for the 2021-2022 season.
Some 3 months ago, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – who’s birthday is today- was sacked from managing Manchester United after a 4:1 defeat to Watford, away from Old Trafford. It seems the shadows of Solskjaer is still lurking around the club.
Today, Manchester United failed to score a goal in the second leg fixture against Watford at Old Trafford and were somewhat fortunate to secure a draw at the end of the match.
It may be an improvement compared to the scoreline some 3 months ago, but it is the same story that things have not gotten better at the Club even with the signing of Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, and an interim coach.
One would think that with Arsenal and Tottenham, who are behind United, having outstanding games to play, United would keep collecting these points to put them on a lifeline before the worse happens.
Even though Manchester United are sitting in 4th position on the league table, looking at next couple of games Manchester United have to play, things seem to be even worse if they continue with this kind of performance.
Manchester United will be meeting Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Leicester, and Everton in the next 5 fixtures. This may look good for football fans around the world, but it would be a tough period for the struggling Red side of Manchester.
