Presidential Staffer at the office of the President, Hajia Fathia Abdul Aziz, has assured the Chiefs and people of Savelugu constituency that the area will witness massive development when she is voted the NPP Parliamentary candidate and subsequently the Member of Parliament in 2024.
“I want to assure my grandfather (Yoo Naa) that with his prayers and support, if my party [NPP] delegates elect me as the Parliamentary candidate and I subsequently become the Member of Parliament in 2024, I will do everything possible to bring development to the good people of Savelugu.
“Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving alongside senior officials of our dear party, gaining valuable experience and insights into the intricacies of governance and decision-making. If elected, this experience will place me in a favourable position to effectively lobby for essential projects and initiatives that will develop our beloved Savelugu constituency,” she emphasised.
She added beyond my experience, “I want to emphasize that my motivation to run for this parliamentary seat stems from a deep-rooted desire to improve the lives of our constituents. I have listened to your concerns, your dreams, and your aspirations, and I am determined to turn those into meaningful actions that uplift every corner of Savelugu constituency.”
Addressing the Chief of Savelugu, Yoo Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani and his elders last Wednesday, after filing her nomination forms to contest in the NPP Parliamentary primaries, Hajia Fathia mentioned about 20 mechanized boreholes are being constructed across the constituency to provide portable water for the people.
She revealed the National Health Insurance Scheme office complex is also at an advanced level of the construction as well as the construction of the Savelugu Community Centre.
The Aspirant in a separate media interview affirmed her unwavering commitment and dedication to serve with integrity and represent the hopes and aspirations of the people.
“With the submission of my nomination forms, I reaffirm my commitment to serve the people of Savelugu constituency. with unwavering dedication and integrity.”
She further called on the people regardless of their political affiliation to join hands and support her course, stating “Together, we can transcend the boundaries of division and work towards building a stronger, more vibrant Savelugu constituency. I am committed to being accessible and approachable, to be your voice in the halls of power, and to ensure that your concerns are heard and addressed.”
Hajia Fathia believes the Savelugu constituency is a place of immense potential, and “it is our collective responsibility to harness that potential for the greater good.
