Tottenham have agreed a deal with West Ham to sign midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
Spurs recently had a £50million bid for the Ghana international rejected by the Hammers
But according to reports, the clubs have agreed a deal in the region of £55m for the coveted 24-year-old.
The Athletic claim the Ghanaian will undergo a medical with Spurs on Thursday.
Kudus will reportedly ink a SIX-YEAR deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kudus is set to leave the Hammers just two years after joining them from Dutch giants Ajax.
It was thought West Ham wouldn’t let him leave the London Stadium for a penny less than his £85m release clause.
But the Irons brass have relented and cashed in on their in-demand midfielder while his stock is at its highest.
Kudus was one of West Ham‘s star performers last season, scoring five goals and bagging four assists in 35 appearances for Graham Potter’s side.
The Hammers brass will likely use the £55m they receive for Kudus to reinvest in the squad ahead of Potter’s first full season in charge.
Kudus’ imminent move to Tottenham will irk the London Stadium faithful due to the clubs’ fierce rivalry.
That rivalry, however, hasn’t stopped players from upping sticks from the Hammers’ former Upton Park home to move to Spurs’ old stomping ground, White Hart Lane.
Freddie Kanoute crossed the divide in the summer of 2003, with beloved duo Jermaine Defoe and Michael Carrick following in January and the summer of 2004, respectively.
The last player to move from West Ham to Tottenham was former England international Scott Parker, who swapped east for north London in August 2011 in a deal worth £5.5million.
