Musah Iddrisu Superior, a General Secretary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party has charged the grassroot of the party to conduct themselves peacefully before, during, and after the upcoming internal elections.
In a video broadcast sighted by to THE CUSTODIAN Online, the deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission stated the party’s internal election is a very important exercise that is going to remobilize and reenergize the base of the party ahead of the next presidential and parliamentary polls in Ghana.
Therefore, he urged that it is important for very key stakeholder in the NPP watches the exercise with keen interest in the weeks.
“My participation in this exercise means that I am going to come here and communicate to you and wish all the contestants well in this competitive election” he added.
The New Patriotic Party is expected to organize its polling station election from February 15 to March 5, 2022, election of electoral area coordinators will also take place from March 18 to 20, 2022.
In addition, the external branches of the party will hold their elections on April 15 to 24, before the constituency elections from April 22 to 24, 2022.
In this regard, the former Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive said, “We all looking forward to building a united, strong, focus political party for 2024.”
The outspoken Musah Superior further indicated it should be a decent and decorous contest, adding that, “We’re all into this project to ensure that we do not allow a single space for the NDC to comeback because we’re the better managers of the economy than the NDC”.
