The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mohammed Abdul Salam, has admonished his colleague appointees to emulate the humility, attitude, and commitment of President John Dramani Mahama in the discharge of their duties.
According to Abdul Salam, President Mahama, since assuming offic,e has offered the nation an unprecedented high standard of leadership and good governance, which has had a tremendous impact on the lives of all Ghanaians.
”I urged all government appointees to emulate the humility, attitude, and commitment of President Mahama to serve our great country,” he stated.
He emphasised that the victory of the NDC in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections was a divine design that Ghanaians voted for the party to come to power.
He indicated the John Dramani Mahama government has so far delivered on its promise to build a better Ghana, stressing that “We shall continue to do so for the good people of our great country.”
The NLA boss, who also doubles as the Northern Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) made an admonishment when he addressed a gathering of NDC constituency executives and supporters during a thank-you tour of the region over the weekend.
”Over the weekend, I joined my Hon. colleagues, Regional executives of the NDC Northern Region, the regional minister/chairman on a tour of eight constituencies in our region. The constituencies included the Tatale-Sanguli, Zabzugu, Saboba, Yendi, Kpandai, Wulensi, Bimbilla, and Mion constituencies.
“The tour coincides with the one-year anniversary of the victory of the NDC and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general elections,” he said.
He disclosed that the meeting also focused on the upcoming reorganisation of the governing party. The secretary highlighted the structures within the party’s hierarchy and scheduled elections from the branch level to the national level later this year.
Mohammed Abdul Salam asserted in his remarks that the NDC continues to be the party with robust internal democratic credentials and is most committed to building consensus from the grassroots, leaving no one behind or unheard.
