The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been thrown into mourning following the passing of its former Deputy Eastern Regional Organiser, Charles Nii Aryertey Taylor.
Mr. Taylor, who served the party with dedication and commitment, passed away after a short illness.
His death has come as a shock to many within the party and the wider political community.
He was 58 and left behind a wife and three children.
He was also a key member of Akuapem South NPP and former CEO of Freedom Radio, 89.3 FM, Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.
During his time as Deputy Regional Organiser, he played a key role in strengthening grassroots mobilisation and coordinating party activities across the region.
Known for his loyalty and tireless work ethic, Mr. Taylor was widely respected among party members and supporters.
Party officials and sympathisers have since taken to social media and other platforms to express their condolences to his family, describing him as a hardworking and dependable figure whose contributions will not be forgotten.
The NPP is expected to release an official statement detailing funeral arrangements and paying tribute to the late party stalwart.
Mr. Taylor’s passing marks a significant loss to the party, particularly at a time when political activities are intensifying ahead of upcoming national engagements.
He is survived by his family, friends, and a host of admirers within the political landscape.
