NPP supporters marching in Accra on Saturday

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Salam Mustapha is optimistic that the governing party will win the 2024 general election despite opinion polls predicting otherwise.

He has rubbished the so-called polls suggesting that NPP’s main opponent, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are favourite in the upcoming election.

According to him, the only verdict the NPP knows for the 2024 election is victory and nothing else. Addressing a charged crowd of party supporters who turned up in Accra on Saturday September 28, 2024, after a Health Walk dubbed “Walk for Bold Solutions”, the NPP youth leader warned against complacency despite the party’s impending victory.

Mr. Mustapha urged the youth to be ambassadors of the party by campaigning vigorously to consolidate its gains in the polls.

“The only verdict we know going into election 2024 is win or win. We don’t know defeat. All we know is a victory for Dr Bawumia and nothing else”, the NPP youth leader emphasised.

He touted the many achievements of the current government indicating that the NDC should not have even fielded a candidate for the election.

‘Walk for bold solutions’

The ‘Walk for Bold Solutions’ was organized by the NPP’s national youth wing led by Salam Mustapha.

The walk started at the Obra Spot in Accra and ended at Mantse Agbona where the participants were addressed by most of the political party’s parliamentary candidates for the Greater Accra region.

Greater Accra gives signals

In a powerful display of unity and enthusiasm, the NPP supporters gathered for the historic march in the Greater Accra Region, signalling a resounding endorsement for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential campaign for 2024.

The event, which was organised by the governing party’s youth wing, showcased an impressive turnout, highlighting the public’s eagerness for Bawumia to lead the nation as its next president.

The vibrant atmosphere was charged with energy as party leaders and grassroots supporters came together to demonstrate their collective strength and commitment.

Participants expressed their belief in Bawumia’s exceptional leadership qualities, innovative vision, and deep economic expertise.

His character traits of selflessness, compassion, humility, honesty, and integrity resonated strongly among the crowd, positioning him as a candidate of choice for the upcoming elections.

NPP officials emphasized the significance of this moment, pledging to harness the enthusiasm generated from the march to invigorate the party’s base across the nation.

“We will capitalize on this momentum to reignite our party’s passion and empower our grassroots,” a party spokesperson stated.

The event was a testament to the hard work of NPP leadership and organizers, who played a pivotal role in coordinating the successful gathering.

Expressing gratitude, they acknowledged the loyal supporters and sympathizers whose dedication contributed to the day’s achievements.
