The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold its much-anticipated National Delegates Conference today, Saturday, July 19, 2025, bringing together key party officials, delegates, and members from across the country.
Over 5,500 delegates to convene at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra for a two-day event under the theme “Rebuilding Together with Our Values”.
The event, which is an important fixture on the NPP’s political calendar, will focus on party unity, reviewing internal structures, and mapping out strategies ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The conference is expected to witness high-level speeches from the party’s leadership, including the national executives, Members of Parliament, and other prominent figures.
Key discussions will centre around strengthening grassroots mobilisation, ensuring effective communication, and consolidating the NPP’s electoral base in preparation for future contests.
Party delegates from all 16 regions will converge on the conference venue, with thousands of participants expected. Security arrangements have been heightened to ensure a peaceful and successful event.
Political analysts stated that the conference will also serve as a platform for the party to project unity and address lingering internal issues.
With the NPP’s leadership looking toward sustaining its political dominance, the outcomes of the conference could play a major role in shaping the party’s direction in the coming years.
