Communicators of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Savannah region have undergone a two-day capacity building training to enhance their knowledge and communication skills to efficiently propagate government business and policies as well party activities.
The NPP Director of Communications for the Savannah Region, Mr. Mohammed Issah said a total of 150 communicators from the seven constituencies in the area participated in the training.
The number according to him included panelists for radio and television political discussions, serial callers and social media communicators who on daily basis speak on government policies and programs from the region.
He said the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Chief Executive of Ghana Water Company Limited, Dr Clifford Braimah as veteran communicators of the party and government took time to share their pool of knowledge and perspectives with the communicators through a visual conference.
“These self-motivated communicators had a good time with their facilitators across the (3) operational zones in the Region” he indicated.
THE CUSTODIAN has gathered that the participants were also given mobile phones to assist their activities after the workshop.
The Communications Director further commended the Savannah Regional Minister, Hon Saeed Muazu Jibril and the NPP Regional Executives for their immense support.
Mr. Mohammed Issah underscored the important role of the regional communication team in the bid to break the 8 agenda in the 2021 general elections.
