The Member of Parliament for Gushegu, Lawyer Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli has presented 100 bags of cement to management of the Gushegu Senior High School.
The gesture is in fulfillment of a pledge the MP made to the school authority for the construction of a fence wall around to enhance security.
Headmaster of the Gushegu SHS, Mr. Salifu Imoro Somed, during the handing over ceremony of the newly built dining hall and the refurbished girls dormitory which was spearheaded by the MP, appealed to him to support the fence wall project.
He raised issues of safety and security of both teachers and students, adding this was also to prevent people from encroaching the school land.
This, Mr. Tampuli swiftly pledged to provide 100 bags of cement to support.

The Gushegu Constituency Chairman, Abdulai Alhassan, presented the 100 bags of cement to the school management on behalf of the lawmaker.
The Chairman during the presentation reaffirmed the MP’s commitment to improving quality of education in the municipality.
He added Lawyer Tampuli has invested so much to transform the educational sector in the Gushegu, emphasizing that he has significantly improved infrastructure and welfare of students and teachers in the municipality since assuming the responsibility as the Member of Parliament.
Meanwhile, as part measures to reduce pressure on the Gushegu SHS, initiated the construction of another senior high school at Kpatinga, the second largest community in the Gushegu municipality.
The Custodian Online can report that the Kpatinga SHS is almost due for commissioning.
