The Martha Ankomah Foundation has donated items worth GHC12,000 to the Rising Star Orphanage located at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
As part of philanthropic works, the Martha Ankomah Foundation decided to grace the birthday occasion of the director of the Martha Ankomah Foundation, Mr. Isaac Yaw Opoku-Okuampa by blessing the orphanage with lot of items such as bags of rice, drinks, bottled water, cooking oil, mosquito sprays, and many more and an undisclosed amount of money.
The foundation is a social organization that seeks to help and support lives of all groups of people in the society, which is led by renowned Ghanaian Actress, Miss Martha Ankomah.
The focus of social impact creation is geared towards children, youth, women, men and the less privilege in the country.
Ms. Martha Ankomah encouraged the children to stay focus and not to see themselves as less privilege and that God has a purpose for everyone on Earth.
She also pleaded with various organizations to come and support the foundation to be able to reach to other needy children in the country.
Ms. Martha Ankomah commended Willmar Africa, the producers of Frytol Oil Ghana, Fortune rice Ghana, Alife Ghana and Mr. Kweku Asiedu for their support.
The Director of the foundation and Lecturer at Jayee University College, Mr. Isaac Yaw Opoku-Okuampa also thanked God for allowing him to celebrate his birthday with Rising Star Orphanage. He further called on stakeholders to support children at various orphanages.
He again promised the orphanage that this wouldn’t be their last visit.
The owner of Rising Star Orphanage, Aunty Bebi who received the items, thanked the foundation for coming to their aid.
“I least expected that within this week, we will be receiving such a wonderful item from Martha Ankomah Foundation”.
She pleaded with other stakeholders to come to their aid.
