Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development Mr. O. B. Amoah has called on the people of Techiman South to show overwhelming support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the MP for the area, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah.
He urged the constituents to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia and Martin in the December 7, 2024 general election.
Mr. O. B. Amoah made the call when the NPP launched Techiman South constituency campaign and commissioning of a new office.
Speaking alongside the running mate to NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh and the Techiman South MP, Mr. O. B. Amoah further urged the constituents to rally behind the NPP for continued progress in the constituency.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Techiman South for their unwavering support, noting the constituency’s crucial role in the NPP’s ambitions for victory in the 2024 general election.
“Thank you, Techiman South, for this wonderful show of love and support for the NPP, Hon. Martin, and Dr. Bawumia. I know you know a precious thing when you see one,” he stated lauding the people for their political astuteness.
He also commended Martin for his tireless work as Member of Parliament for Techiman South, describing him as a leader deeply committed to the development of the constituency.
“In Martin, you have a super MP. He’s the one to well represent you for many years to come. He’s fighting for you, making sure you have what you need and deserve—schools, roads, water, jobs, health centres, Astroturf, microfinance, skills training, and more,” Amoah stated, stressing the MP’s achievements and ongoing projects.
Mr. O.B. Amoah emphasized the importance of voting for both the sitting MP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections, stating that their leadership would secure a brighter future for the constituency and the country.
“You should work for him [Hon. Korsah] and Dr. Bawumia to win massively. That’s our only hope for years to come. Don’t let anyone deceive you. This is your time. You vote for those who can help you progress in life.
“In this constituency, it’s Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah, and in Ghana, Dr. Bawumia. They are the ones who will bring real change and progress to your lives,” he urged the crowd.
The Akuapem South MP reiterated the NPP’s commitment to the development of Techiman South, urging the constituents to stay focused on leaders who deliver on their promises.
He encouraged them to vote for Dr. Bawumia at the national level and Hon. Mensah Korsah at the constituency level for continued progress.
