Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kumah Aboagye has disclosed that about one hundred and twenty (120) people have recovered from the case management in the country.
According to him, 82 of the recoveries have come from the Ga East hospital, 17 from University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC), 3 recovery from the Ridge, Tema General hospital 1 and 4 recoveries from the 37 Military hospital.
He added the Ashanti region has 6 recoveries, Wa 1 and the Tamale has 6 case recoveries reported.
He stated the figure of those responding to treatment are 1,021, accounting for about 88.5% of cases in the country.
He said: “We have 4 people currently in critical or moderate conditions, only 1 is on ventilator and these are in Ga East and UGMC this morning.”
However, Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have increased to 1,154.
At this morning news conference at the Ministry of Information, Dr Dr Patrick Kumah Aboagye further announced that, 401 cases have reported positive under the general surveillance and 115 travellers still under quarantine and tested positive.
“We have 638 positives through the enhanced contact tracing in the last three weeks, bringing the number 1,154 cases as at today” he added.
