Acting General Secretary of the Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr, has submitted the 2019 audited accounts of the party to the Electoral Commission (EC) in accordance with law.
In a statement, Mr Bomfeh indicated that the submission is pursuant to International Financing Reporting Standards (IFRS); the Ghana Company’s Act, 1963 (Act 179), and the Political Parties Act, 2000 (Act 574).
He expressed hope the Ghanaian public would be informed through the media that the CPP has complied with the directives of the law.

SUBMISSION OF AUDITED ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019.
I write to submit the audited accounts of the Convention People’s Party, CPP for the year ending December 31. 2019 pursuant to; International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); the Ghana Company’s Act, 1963 (Act 179), and the Political Parties Act, 2000 (Act 574).
It is hoped that receipt of this submission will be acknowledged and the Ghanaian public informed through the media that the Convention People’s Party has complied with the directives of the law.
