Government has extended the ‘Free Water for All Ghanaians’ policy for another three months from 1st October to 31st December, 2020.
This, according to the administration, is to enable Ghanaians to effectively continue observing the COVID-19 protocols especially the washing of hands under running water to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
A release from the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources appealed to consumers and Ghanaians in general to use water judiciously in the observance of the protocols and urged all landlords and tanker service providers to refrain from charging or selling water to consumers as government is paying for the water.
