The Deputy Minister for Energy, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has connected four more communities in the Karaga district to the National Electricity Grid.
The beneficiary villages are namely; Namang, Binkoli, Naloli and Tambigu.
This brings the number of communities the Karaga Member of Parliament who doubles as the Deputy Energy Minister has done in 2021 to 10.
The lawmaker had earlier in June this year connected six communities namely; Sandua, Tulinga, Pukura, Sologu, Tandong and Babilga to the national grid.
In total, Dr Amin Adam announced he has extended electricity to cover over 40 communities in the Karaga constituency in the last two years.
On his Facebook timeline, the Karaga MP said last Tuesday that, “I joined the people of four communities in the Karaga Constituency – Namang, Binkoli, Naloli and Tambigu to celebrate the connection of the communities to the National Electricity Grid”.
He further expressed the excitement and gratitude of the Chiefs and people to the Akufo-Addo government for providing them with the infrastructure that will transform their communities.
