The former Second Lady of Ghana, Hajia Ramatu Mahama is still alive and healthy and the general public is advised to disregard rumours that she is dead; this is according to Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama – Son of the former second family who is also the Member of Parliament for the Yendi constituency in the northern region.
It has been reported in a section of the local media that the spouse of the late Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, passed at a London hospital where she is reported to have been receiving medical care for weeks now.
However, Mr. Farouk Mahama in statement on social media, “I have taken note of an unfortunate rumour making rounds about my mom, the Former Second Lady, H.E Hajia Ramatu Aliu Mahama (Neè Egala).”
“My mom is still alive. We should leave matters of death and health in the hands of the Almighty Allah. Members of the public should please disregard the reports” the Yendi legislator added.
