The team Bus of Ashanti Gold football club was attacked by Armed Robbers last night as they were travelling back home.
Ashanti Gold played Accra Hearts of Oak over the weekend and they lost by two goals to one.
The Club’s Facebook handle announced about 2 hours ago that armed Robbers shot at them through the driver’s side at Assin Endwa.
Ashanti Gold played in Accra and they were on their way back to Obuasi when the incident occurred.
The statement indicates that all those on the bus are safe and no casualties were recorded.
