Minister for Finance Mr Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to brief Parliament this week on various steps government is taking to address challenges facing the economy.

Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament Alexander Afenyo-Markin disclosed this on Friday while briefing the House on Parliament’s activities for the period.

He assured that the Finance Minister is poised to provide answers to deal with the current economic difficulties.

“Mr. Speaker the Finance Minister has twelve questions. We know the challenging times we find ourselves in, but we believe that he would make it and explain government’s financial policies,” he said on the floor of the House.

The Finance Minister is on record to have indicated that government has no intention to go for assistance from the IMF.
