The New Patriotic Party Yendi Constituency Delegates Conference will be held tomorrow Sunday (May 1, 2022) following the successful implementation of the roadmap agreed by all relevant stakeholders, the NPP General Secretary, John Boadu has announced.
The elections were originally scheduled for Thursday, April 28, 2022, but had to be put on hold following concerns raised before the National Steering Committee of the party.
However, the NPP General Secretary in a statement Saturday (April 30, 2022) has directed the Northern Regional Party to see to it that the Yendi Constituency Annual Delegates Conference of the party is held.
“It is directed that the conference, which is expected to among other things, elect Constituency Executives for Yendi, be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022, under the supervision of the Yendi Constituency Elections Committee as well as the Electoral Commission of Ghana, in line with the party’s rule and regulations” the statement added.
