A group emerging from the Ketu South constituency of the Volta Region has declared its intention to support and project John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen following his decision to contest in the race to lead the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general election.
According to the conveners of the group, Kojo Peterson-Midadje and Sebastian Galley, “ALAN ALL D-WAY (LOYAL PATRIOTS FOR ALAN), which is led by party grassroots, activists and former executives loyal to ALAN-K since 2005, believes that he is the right person at the moment, experienced enough to lead the NPP to victory in the 2024 general election and make history by “breaking the eight”
The conveners reminded potential aspirants to be mindful of the due processes laid down by the party hierarchy on campaigning for individuals vying to lead the party and cautioned them to be circumspect in their pronouncements.
“We must ensure at all times to desist from engaging in activities that may compromise the peaceful transition of power to the next flagbearer after the end of President Akufo-Addo’s term of office”, the group urged.
Dr. Ben Agbenu who is the patron of the group expressed his unflinching support for the aims and ideals of the group, assuring that once Mr. Kyerematen has put in place the necessary mechanism to market him there will be a befitting inauguration of “ALAN ALL D-WAY”, after which they will campaign vigorously for Alan’s victory.
