Some Youth of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Sagnarigu Constituency have called on leadership of the party to as a matter of urgency stop the campaign team of the Sagnarigu Member of Parliament, A.B.A Fuseini, from engaging in chieftaincy and tribal politics.
The group who identified themselves as Sagnarigu Concerned NDC Grassroots in a press statement sighted by THE CUSTODIAN has accordingly condemned the immediate past Deputy NDC Northern Regional Communications Officer, Iddrisu Hardi Pagaza, who is a lead campaign team member of the incumbent MP for allegedly tagging other candidates in the contest as members of the Abudu royal family against the Andani’s.
“The Sagnarigu Concerned NDC Grassroots have noted with grave concern the comments by the immediate past Deputy Northern Regional Communications Officer of our party, NDC, Iddrisu Hardi Pagaza, saying on behalf of Hon. A. B. A. Fuseini’s campaign team that they will resort to chieftaincy politics (Abudu and Andani) in our peaceful constituency, which we deem troubling and condemnable” the group alleged.
Mr. Iddrisu Hardi Pagaza whilst campaigning the incumbent MP in a viral video is ostensibly heard questioning the commitment of one of the aspirants to the course of the Andani family in the Dagbon traditional area.
The group described the comments of the latter as irresponsible, rabble-rouser and reckless which must not be entertained in any uncertain terms, adding the outspoken former communications officer is noted for this kind of politics, reason nobody in Northern Region takes him serious anymore.
“We are calling on the NDC leadership in Sagnarigu Constituency, Regional and National offices to call Hardi Pagaza to order since he does not belong to the constituency, for we believe his actions will deepen the seemingly cracks within the NDC in the Sagnarigu Constituency, which we cannot allow to happen.”
According to the group, Mr. Iddrisu has the penchant of interfering in the NDC Sagnarigu local politics, stating the latter interfered so much into our constituency executive elections with same attitude that resulted in many candidates losing their elections because they were affected by their association with Pagazaa and the MP.
“We want to remind him that the NDC we all belong to is colour-blind and goes beyond tribal boundaries. In fact, is an assemblage of different people from all walks of life where discrimination has no place.”

The Sagnarigu Concerned NDC Grassroots have noted with grave concern the comments by the immediate past Deputy Northern Regional Communications Officer of our party, NDC, Iddrisu Hardi Pagaza, saying on behalf of Hon. A. B. A. Fuseini’s campaign team that they will resort to chieftaincy politics (Abusu and Andani) in our peaceful constituency, which we deem troubling and condemnable.
In a viral video where the gentleman was seen addressing supporters of the incumbent Member of Parliament, at the MP’s residence after he filed his nomination forms to contest for the upcoming parliamentary primaries of our party on 22nd March, 2023, Hardi Pagazaa was captured tagging some candidates in the upcoming Sagnarigu constituency parliamentary primaries as members of Abudu family, inciting Andani Yili against Abudu Yili.
The Sagnarigu Concerned NDC Grassroots condemn this irresponsible, rabble-rouser and reckless comment in no uncertain terms. The said gentleman is noted for this kind of politics, reason nobody in Northern Region takes him serious anymore.

We also want to call on all aspirants to do away with people with divisive tendencies for their attitude does not speak well of our beloved constituency.
