The Municipal Security Council (MUSIC) of the West Akim Municipal Assembly has officially canceled all Obuodwan festival activities at Openim.
The decision was reached during a meeting to deliberate on security matters related to the festival.
The Municipal Security Council, led by Chairman Hon. Seth Oduro Boadu, issued a public statement copied to the Asamankese and Anum Traditional Councils, declaring Openim as a disputed area, emphasizing that no activities should be extended to the location.
