Multiple award winning rapper, Sarkodie is encouraging people not to easily give up when people doubt their potentials but they should rather be motivated to reach their goals.
In a tweet earlier today, Sarkodie, who is currently promoting his latest ‘Otan’ song said people should always know that they are destined for greatness when they have a lot of people doubting their capabilities.
He wrote: Signs: Always know you are destined for greatness when you have a lot of people doubting you… that’s the fuel to get to your full potential”.
Sarkodie’s remarks is coming on the heels of his ongoing Rapperholic Exhibition where the distinguished artiste is showcasing his plethora of awards, sold out concerts, philanthropic work, significant collaborations and everything else that has defined him as a musician and contributed to his success.
Even though he has been active on the music scene since 2005, Sarkodie released his debut Maakye album in 2009 and has since maintained an enviable position in the music space.
Having won the ultimate Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards (GMA) in 2010 and 2012, Sarkodie further inked his name as a force to reckon with on Ghana’s music scene when he won the GMA Artiste of the Decade.
With his repertoire of awards and honours, it is definitely not out of place for the father of two to give the general public the chance to experience his stellar legacy; the projects, plethora of awards, sold out concerts, philanthropic work, and significant collaborations among many others that have shaped and built his brand.
The ongoing Rapperholic Exhibition is being hosted by the Mix Design Hub in Osu in conjunction with Eagle Plug.
The five day exhibition was initially scheduled to end on Saturday, December 16 but has been extended to Tuesday, January 2.
