The campaign of Hon. Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko has strongly rejected allegations that the aspirant for New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman is against TESCON voters in the party’s upcoming national elections.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Boakye Agyarko Campaign described the claims as “completely false, malicious, and another desperate propaganda” being spread by opponents.
According to the campaign, it moved swiftly after reports emerged of attempts to revise the list of TESCON voters. The team engaged the NPP National Elections Committee to ensure that duly accredited TESCON members who participated in the recent regional elections are not disenfranchised and are allowed to vote in the October 3 national executives elections.
The statement reaffirmed Hon. Agyarko’s longstanding regard for TESCON as “one of the intellectual frontlines of our party and a fulcrum of our youth wing.” Protecting the integrity of TESCON votes, it said, is a clear demonstration of his respect for the group.
The campaign also praised the National Elections Committee for its “swift cooperation, objectivity, and willingness to engage constructively,” noting that the Committee’s professional handling of the matter has reinforced confidence in the electoral process and underscored a shared commitment to fairness and party unity.
TESCON members, delegates, and the wider NPP fraternity were urged to treat the circulating propaganda with the contempt it deserves. Hon. Agyarko, the statement concluded, remains committed to the rule of law, internal democracy, and the empowerment of the party’s youth as efforts continue to rebuild and strengthen the New Patriotic Party.
