A philanthropic Muslim group, BayeDoEverything, has donated some assorted food items and toiletries to the ‘Home Of Taqwa’ Orphanage at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region as part of the commemoration of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr.

The items, which include soft drinks, bottled water, rice, cooking oil and used clothes are intended to help in the upkeep of the children in the orphanage.

Special Advisor and Head of Council of Elders Dan Isa Alhaji Awal Kadir English led the group to present the items to the orphanage.

Other members of the group include the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Abdul Ganiyu Sufi; President, Abdul Jawad Umar; and Patron, Sheik Abdul Basit.

They spent time with the children after the donation to give them a sense of belonging and love as encouraged by the Holy Qur’an.

Helping poor and needy by giving charity is considered as one of the virtuous acts in Islam. Indeed, Islam warns those who cloak and save their wealth and do not spend for the cause of Allah or in His way.

The entire Board of the Orphanage and its officials thanked BayeDoEverything for the gesture. BayeDoEverything is an Islamic Tijānia Fayda Organization interested in serving humanity.

The group expressed appreciation to all those who made contributions towards the donation and encouraged all Muslims to show love to the needy.

“Our gratitude is enhanced by building our awareness of Allah and His sovereignty over our affairs. The fruits of such esteemed realization should become apparent to our personal and social life as it was evident in the life of Allah’s favoured servants”, the Special Advisor and Head of Council of Elders Dan Isa Alhaji Awal Kadir English stated.
