Boakye Agyarko congratulates elected NPP Regional Executives nationwide

‎National Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Boagye Agyarko has extended his warmest congratulations to the newly elected Regional Executives of the party across the country.

‎The largest opposition party conducted it’s elections across all 16 regions on Saturday, August 15, 2026, to select individuals who will manage the affairs of the NPP in the next four years.
‎
‎Following the successful conduct of the polls, Mr. Agyarko in a statement dated Saturday, August 15, congratulated all newly elected executives and those whose mandate have been renewed.
‎
‎According to him, this internal democratic exercise has once again demonstrated that the NPP remains the beacon of democracy in Ghana and battleready for the 2028 elections.
‎
‎He noted that the passion, energy, and commitment displayed by candidates and delegates alike underscored the collective resolve to restructure and strengthen the NPP from the grassroots.
‎
‎”I congratulate all those who have been entrusted with leadership at the regional level. The task ahead is a call to duty that requires strategic leadership and effective grassroots mobilization.
‎
‎To those who were unsuccessful this time, the party still needs your experience and dedication” he stated.

‎He further commended the Elections Committee and the security agencies for ensuring a generally peaceful and transparent process, which further enhances the party’s institutional integrity.
‎
‎The former Energy Minister emphasized that the unity of the NPP is non-negotiable moving into the 2028 general election.
‎
‎He added the primary objective is to ensure that the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu and it’s parliamentary candidates secure decisive victory.
‎
‎When elected as the National Chairman of the party, Boakye Agyarko vows to work closely with all regional secretariats to institutionalize a grassroots-based campaign strategy that ensures every voter understands and embraces our rebuilding agenda.
‎
‎He indicated that the NPP is now better positioned to consolidate its gains and continue its mission of delivering development and prosperity to the Ghanaian people.
