Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare has offered important tit-bits to the public to aid the fight against spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

She noted that hand hygiene is an important step to fighting the pandemic and therefore expedient for people ingratiate this exercise in their daily lives.

She noted that washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds is critical especially before eating, after coughing, sneezing, blowing one’s nose and after going to the bathroom.

“If soap and water are not readily available, please use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer,” the Chief of Staff advised.

“Generally, apply the liquid to the palm of one hand. Then rub it all over both hands until the sanitizer dries.” 

“Also, please don’t forget to keep hand sanitizers out of the reach of children as it can be toxic, even lethal to young children.”
