The Law Students’ Union (LSU) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has honoured Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) for his outstanding contributions to the union over the years.
At a dinner in Kumasi to commemorate 20 years anniversary of LSU, the group presented COKA with a Citation of Appreciation.
COKA, who is also former Afigya Kwabre South constituency chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP), was recognized for his “leadership, generosity, and commitment to the growth of young minds.
“He provided the Longford Event Centre as a venue for the union’s activities, offered financial support, counsel, and policy guidance,” the Union pointed out.
It expressed its gratitude and appreciation for COKA’s selfless service, stating that his legacy would be etched in the hearts of the students forever.
The citation was signed by Evans Osei-Bonsu, President of the Law Students’ Union (LSU).
He praised COKA’s dedication to the union and the university community, noting that his leadership and vision had inspired a new generation of leaders.
“COKA’s contributions to the LSU and KNUST will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the university and the country as a whole.
His commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders is a testament to his character and vision for a better future,” the LSU President concluded.
