The Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) has terminated the contracts of all caterers under the program with immediate effect.
Consequently, all caterers providing meals for the school children nationwide have been directed to seize cooking activities.
The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, Hajia Fati Forgoh, in a statement on Friday, May 2, 2025, said, “Please be informed that contracts of all caterers of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP) nationwide have been terminated with immediate effect.”
“Accordingly, no existing caterer on the Programme should cook for the third term of the 2024/2025 academic year” she emphasized.
She however assured that all outstanding arrears for the second term of the 2024/2025 academic year will be paid in due course.
Meanwhile, the GSFP Secretariat, as part of its ongoing restructuring exercise, will soon announce the modalities for the recruitment of new caterers for the Programme.
