President and Founder of the Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kwaku Oteng has donated items worth GHC800,000 to the Kumasi South Suntreso hospital, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi Prisons, Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) and some head potters popularly known as ‘kayayeis’ in the Kumasi metropolis as part of efforts to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The donation was led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN Ghana), Mr. Samuel Kofi Acheampong (Bronzy), Kwame Adinkra, Chief Operating Officer (ABN Ghana), Mr. Edmund Bannor, Marketting Manager (ABN Ghana) and Mr. Ernest Gyamfi, Marketing Manager of Adonko Company Limited.

Receiving the items (fifty cartons of ‘Adonko hand sanitizer’, boxes of tissues, hand gloves and nose masks) at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Prof. Baffour Opoku, Medical Director at the facility thanked Dr. Kwaku Oteng for complementing their efforts in combating the spread of the virus and asked same of companies and individuals who can assist the facility with personal protective equipment.

DDP Samuel Owusu Amponsah, Ashanti regional Commander of the Ghana Prisons Service also thanked the Angel Group and its founder for having them in mind as items like bags of rice, cooking oil, ‘Adonko hand sanitizer’, and tissues were donated to the facility.

He stated that the items have come at the right time as they are in dire need for food items most especially.
