The Eastern Regional branch of the Tertiary Students Confederacy of the New Patriotic Party (TESCON) has thrown its full weight behind Hon. Boakye Agyarko in the race for NPP National Chairman.
Following a meeting with TESCON Presidents from across the region, the student leadership issued a unanimous endorsement, citing Agyarko’s proven experience, political maturity, and capacity to rebuild the party.
According to the group, the decision goes beyond personal preference. “Personality, experience and leadership qualities matter,” they stated, stressing that the next National Chairman must be someone who can unite the party, re-energise the grassroots, and chart a clear path to victory in 2028.
In Boakye Agyarko, Eastern TESCON sees a candidate with the authority and strategic insight needed to steady the party and position it for electoral success.
The endorsement from one of the party’s key student networks in the Eastern Region is expected to strengthen Agyarko’s standing as the internal contest intensifies.
