The Emmaland Resources Ghana Limited (ERGL) in collaboration with the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation have joined the fight against the spread of the novel corona virus pandemic in the northern region.

The company has donated hand washing facilities and a wide range of assorted items to community members at Sheini in the Tatale/Sanguli district.

The residents were also advised to avoid physical contact with others and adhere to the social distancing protocols.

The Project Development Manager of Emmaland Resources Ghana Limited, Mr. Osei Owusu Ansah explained to thecustodianghonline.com that, the gesture forms part of the corporate social responsibility of the company.

He disclosed that an amount of GHC 35,000.00 was used to procure the items for a number of deprived communities.

“Today, the biggest problem facing the world is the Coronavirus Pandemic, which is killing people all over the world. As a company, we see it as an obligation to ensure the safety of the people in the area where we are working.”
