Farouk Aliu Mahama, Member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency will for the third time be honored at the most prestigious Northern Excellence Awards. The first timer MP will on Sunday, 5th March 2023 received the award for the Most Outstanding Politician of the year. This is after being adjudged as the Rising Star of the year in 2019 and Development Politician of the year in 2021.
Mr. Mahama is this year honored for his outstanding achievements in the development of northern Ghana, through his numerous humanitarian initiatives, Community service, Women and Youth Empowerment in the northern region.
In an interview with Mynorthtoday.com, Mr. Alhassan Abdul-Latif, Executive Director of Celebrities Charity Development Foundation, organizers of Northern Excellence Awards said the young politician is an outstanding role model to the northern youth and deserves to be recognized for his numerous life changing interventions.
The 5th Northern Excellence Awards will take place at the Global Dream Hotel in Tamale, on Sunday, 5th March 2023, from 8:00pm prompt.
