This is a recent update to the the story published recently about the breakthrough the Ghana Police has made on the case of the Bullion Van Robberies in Ghana.

Two policemen who were suspected to be involved in these robberies died from gunshot wounds after a gunfire exchange at Ashiaman between the Ghana Police and the suspected criminals. This happened when the Police raided the hideout of the criminals at Borteyman, near Amasaman, upon acting on intelligence they gathered.

Five more suspects have been arrested and four out of these are claimed to be a part of the police service after further investigations. Five more civilians are wanted in connection with these crimes.

The arrested Police suspects and the others have been interdicted and sent to court today.

The suspects involved in this are Const. Affisu Yaro Ibrahim, Const. Richard Boadu, Const. Rabiu Jambedu, Const. Albert Ofusu, and one civilian Razak Alhassan.

The Police Service is calling on the general public and health facilities within Tema-Accra to report any persons with gunshot wounds to the nearest police station.
