Mr Kwame Osei-Prempeh, MD and Group Chief Executive of GOIL

Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has reduced fuel prices with effect from Saturday, February 22, 2020.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Manager of GOIL, Mr Robert Kyere, the indigenous petroleum company announced that a litre if its newly introduced SuperXP RON 95 is now GH¢5.40 while Diesel will now sell at GH¢5.41.

“The revision in prices is as a result of reductions in international prices of finished products and the appreciation of the Cedi against major currencies especially the US dollar,” the company said in the release.

The reduction comes on the back of the recent introduction of higher grade Super XP

(RON 95) onto the market at no extra cost to customers.

“GOIL wishes to thank consumers for their immense support and patronage of the company’s products and services,” the statement concluded.
