Hajia Fathia Abdul-Aziz, a Staffer at the Office of the President has presented a cash amount of GHS5,000 to support the Savelugu Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) Delegates Conference held on Tuesday (24 August, 2021).

The donation is her personally gesture for the smooth day-to-day running of the party in the constituency in the aftermath of last year’s elections.  

Additionally, she also donated another GHS2,000 and 50kg bags of rice together with assorted mineral drinks to enable the successful conduct of the conference in the constituency.

Out of her schedule, Hajia Fathia also joined the delegates conference at the Savelugu Canteen.

Ms Fathia later interacted with the New Patriotic Party elders in the constituency where she also extended some support to them.

The governing NPP is organizing its Annual Constituency Delegates Conference across all 275 constituencies in Ghana in accordance with Article 7(27) of the party’s constitution.

The conference was organized in compliance with the Covid-19 safety protocols as instructed by the General Secretary.

Hajia Fathia Abdul-Aziz prior to the 2020 general elections donated thousands of campaign materials to the Savelugu constituency including motorbikes, tricycles and hundreds of soap boxes among other items.

She also campaigned vigorously in the Savelugu constituency and other areas in the northern region which resulted in the overwhelming votes for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP winning some traditional seats of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
