Municipal Chief Executive for Sagnarigu and a member of the New Patriotic Party Northern Region Campaign Team, Hajia Mariam Iddrisu has predicted victory for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Tamale Central NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming 7 December, 2020 general elections in Ghana.

Hajia Mariam told the Custodian Online that she is positive that victory will manifest come December 7 when the Ghanaian electorates cast their ballots to decide who becomes President of the Republic. However, she warned supporters of the party not to be complacent but demonstrate their commitment and campaign vigorously for a landslide victory for the party.

The Sagnarigu MCE at the inauguration of the Tamale Central Constituency Campaign Team charged members of the campaign team to work hard towards victory for NADAA and Dr Ibrahim Anyars.

“Let’s all lace our boots and get on board in the campaign trail. We shouldn’t allow Tamale Central constituency to be used as the dumping site for an MP from another constituency. I am positive that victory will manifest come December 7, but we should not be complacent” she added.

Meanwhile, the Tamale Central Constituency is keenly contested between the Chief Executive Officer of the Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) and the NDC former Member of Parliament for Nanton, Ibrahim Murtala who quickly switch back to the Tamale Central after he (Ibrahim Murtala) lost the Nanton seat to the NPP in 2016.
