National Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has revealed his 18-years working relationship with the 2028 presidential candidate of the party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He disclosed that in 2008, when Dr. Bawumia was first selected as the party’s running mate to then Flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, he served has his first spokesperson.
”I travelled across the country with him, introducing him to our party faithful and engaging our members, including students and young patriots on tertiary campuses” he added.
In Facebook post as the NPP’s national elections campaign intensifies, the former General Secretary said he doesn’t need to convince anyone that he can work with Dr. Bawumia moving into the 2028 general election.
John Boadu emphasized that his relationship with the leader of the party has been built on 18 years of trust loyalty and service.
”I do not need to convince anyone that I can work with our Flagbearer, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
”Our relationship is not a product of today’s politics; it is a partnership built on 18 years of trust, loyalty, shared responsibility and service to the New Patriotic Party” he stated.
The National Chairman aspirant said: “For 18 years, we have worked together harmoniously through different seasons of our party’s journey.”
”We have faced challenges together, celebrated victories together, and remained committed to the same cause—the advancement of the NPP and the development of Ghana” he stressed.
He underscored his years of experience in party work, knowledge of the history of the party and his track record in service of the NPP.
He therefore promised to put all these to work to unite, rebuild and reposition the NPP for victory when given the mandate to lead as Chairman.
