The Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) has dissolved 323 entities after officially striking their names off the Register of Companies in an administrative exercise published in Volume 49 of the Companies Bulletin.
According to the notice dated October 15, 2026, the Registrar acted under Section 289(5) of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992).
Signed by the Registrar of Companies, Maame Samma Peprah (Mrs.), the publication formally informs the public that the Registrar has dissolved the listed entities.
The affected organisations represent a wide range of business interests, including manufacturing, trading, agriculture, associations and non-profit activities.
Some of the prominent companies named in the bulletin include Ghana Breweries Limited, Ashanti Cement Limited, Gold Coast Cigar Ltd and Hoechst Ghana Limited.
The list also features Adu Trading Limited, Aluminium Manufacturing Limited, Cambridge Bookshop Limited, African Enterprise Limited and Ghana Poultry Ltd.
Beyond commercial businesses, the dissolution exercise has affected associations and other organisations, including the Livestock Association, Moshi Youth Association and Taiwan-Ghana Private Trade & Investment LBG.
The move reflects the Registrar’s statutory responsibility to ensure the integrity of Ghana’s corporate register by removing entities in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act.
